• We will work toward developing a New York State Universal Healthcare, so that no one, no matter your income or status ever has to worry about the cost of healthcare again. We will also negotiate directly with pharmaceutical companies on drug pricing, or, work directly with Canada to purchase medication and medical supplies. We will no longer treat health and wellness as a business with a bottom line.

• Expanded funding and support for nurses and mental health workers — better pay, better work conditions, better staffing ratios.

• We will provide healthcare deliveries for those in need — medication, supplies, and follow-up care for anyone who can’t leave their homes, at no cost to the patient.

• We will fund scientific research into PFAS chemical elimination: expand research on how to remove it from human systems and eradicate it from our environment.

• Expanded funding and focus on STI eradication — science and research beyond prophylactics and contraception.

•In light of the federal government’s recent illegal and unconstitutional actions regarding the eradication of USAID, New York will head an aggressive pursuit to try and restore the agency, working with other states and countries willing to pitch in to save the tens of millions of lives that are at risk of being lost.
